Meet Adaeze Charlyn Udom - Visionary Founder of Green Hope Youth Empowerment Initiative
At the heart of the Green Hope Youth Empowerment Initiative (GHYEI) stands our visionary founder, Adaeze Charlyn Udom, a distinguished professional strategy consultant with a profound commitment to fostering healthy living, sustainable development, and youth empowerment.
Adaeze’s academic journey is notable, with a Ph.D. (in view) and an MSc in Policy and Strategy from the prestigious Covenant University. Her intellectual curiosity and pursuit of global perspectives took her to Sciences Po, Paris, France, on an enriching exchange program. Further cementing her leadership credentials, Adaeze is a certified educational leader, a testament to her dedication to lifelong learning, earned from the renowned Harvard University in Boston, USA.
Adaeze’s contributions to the literary world are significant. She is a prolific journalist and author, having penned numerous influential books on entrepreneurship and education. Her works are so impactful that two have been officially endorsed by the Lagos State Ministry of Education and the Federal Ministry of Education for use by all SS3 students across Nigeria, a rare honor that underscores the value and relevance of her insights.
In addition to her literary achievements, Adaeze is an accomplished artist trained in Paris, France. Her art is a testament to her creativity and passion for cultural expression, which she integrates into her various initiatives to inspire and uplift communities.
As the Managing Director of Evri Healthy Foods and Yoghurts, Adaeze’s role is more than a title—it’s a mission. She leverages her strategic acumen to guide the company toward its goal of promoting healthier lifestyles through nutritious offerings. Her leadership extends beyond the corporate realm as she helms the Lourdes Royal Group as CEO, further showcasing her versatility and entrepreneurial spirit.
Adaeze’s passion for community development and youth empowerment is evident through her founding of GHYEI. Under her guidance, GHYEI has launched transformative programs such as the Enterprise Festival and Empowerment Workshops, aimed at uplifting underperforming pupils and equipping them for a brighter future. These programs are designed to foster entrepreneurship, enhance educational outcomes, and provide practical skills that help youth achieve their full potential.
The creation of Aucommunity.ng marks another milestone in Adaeze’s journey. This platform reflects her deep-seated desire to contribute to Nigeria’s growth and development, fostering a reorientation and sparking discussions aimed at reinstating Nigeria among the world’s leading nations.
Additionally, the Green Hope Helping Hands Community, an online social transformation platform, connects Nigerian communities with people in need, fostering social security which reduces insecurity and crime. This citizen-driven initiative directly contributes to national development, highlighting that social security is a right of every Nigerian. In developed nations, while the government leads these efforts, numerous private platforms bolster governmental initiatives, creating a robust social security system.
The Green Hope Research Centre, another pillar of Adaeze’s vision, is dedicated to researching and developing solutions for the advancement of Nigeria, free from any political affiliations. The funds raised support their groundbreaking work in promoting sustainable development, economic growth, and social progress within our nation.
Adaeze Charlyn Udom is more than our founder; she is a beacon of inspiration, a catalyst for change, and a testament to the power of vision, dedication, and unwavering commitment to making a difference in the world and the lives of individuals.
